District of Columbia Increases Minimum Wage on July 1, 2026

On July 1, 2026, the District of Columbia minimum hourly wage will increase to $18.40. The minimum base wage for tipped employees will increase to $10.30 per hour.

The District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES) announced the upcoming increase in a Public Notice on its website.
