Minimum Wage Increase

On January 1, 2026, Connecticut's minimum wage will increase to $16.94 per hour. The minimum base wage for most tipped hotel and restaurant service employees and tipped bartenders remains the same ($6.38 and $8.23 per hour, respectively).


Sick Leave Reminder!

Beginning January 1, 2026, Connecticut's paid sick leave law will cover employers with 11 or more employees in the state.
