Arizona Expands Military Leave
Starting September 12, 2026, Arizona’s military leave law, which applies to employers of all sizes, will be expanded to cover leave for all categories of military training. Currently, the law allows leave to attend common categories of military training, specifically camps, maneuvers, formations, and armory drills, so this change is largely a formality to ensure that all types of training are covered. The law applies to military service in the reserve components of the U.S. Armed Forces and any state’s national guard. HB 2663 was signed by the governor on June 4, 2026.
