Connecticut Expands Victim Protections

Beginning October 1, 2025, Connecticut's antidiscrimination law, which applies to employers of all sizes, will cover victims of sexual assault and human trafficking and give them the same protections as victims of domestic violence meaning they'll be entitled to discrimination protections, reasonable victim leave, and workplace accommodations.

Action Item:

Update your antidiscrimination policy (and victim leave policy, if it's separate) to reflect these changes.
